OUGD502 - Study Task 8 - Creative CV

HTML is broken, so here is thelink to my Issu document of research in magazines: http://issuu.com/slugfolio/docs/ppparticles?mode=window

Examples of creative CV's

This perhaps is not the most creative of personal touches to stationary, however it highlights how self branding can work. Ferrando has labeled his practice as focusing on "hand made design" which instantly allows the client to understand exactly what they wont get. This focusses Ferrando's client base and target audience.

The idea behind the hand wrapping around adds an aesthetic linking to the process in which he works.

However unattractive I find this branding across the page, it does show a different grid layout to the CV's that are online from the majority of creatives. I find it awkward to read, the point size to colour ration hurts my eyes and the large branding makes you loose focus on the type.

This mailer from Levis, admittedly is not personal branding, however it acts as a sort of CV for the company. They are highlighting a creative dedication which they would like consumers to think they put into their clothing. It instantly makes a mailer tactile and interactive, it leaves an impression.
